Dry cleaning is a cleaning process for clothing and textiles using a chemical solvent rather than water. Dry cleaning is done in specially designed machines and has the ability to dissolve a mulititude of stains including oils, greases, paint, and other stains, wet or dry, in a way that water cannot. The dry cleaning process starts with the pretreatment of spots and stains using specialized cleaning agents. The garments are then loaded into the oversized dry cleaning machine which gently cleans the garments. The garments are dried in the same machine and have no residual solvent after cleaning.

laundered shirts (on hangers or boxed) & wet cleaning

Professional laundering for shirts and other "washable" items is another process we use to keep your garments looking their best. Special detergents, additives, and your choice of starch set our professional laundry apart from home laundering. At Midway Cleaners, we hand scrub every collar and cuff individually so that they all turn out 100% crisp, clean, and perfect. Laundered shirts can be hung on a hanger, or professionally folded and boxed which may be preferable if you are traveling. Properly sized commercial washers like ours cost 8 to10 thousand dollars each. That's the kind of professional machine that you should expect from your cleaners. press only / clean only / bulk cleaning

If your garment is already clean and you would like to have it professionally pressed only, or if you would like your garment cleaned only and not pressed, perhaps for storage, we offer these services for 50% off the regular price. Bulk cleaning is for 5 lbs minimum of items for clean only at a greatly reduced price.

express service

With our free express service, customers receive their own Midway Cleaners laundry bag which has their name and preferences labeled. Customers can then drop the bag off faster and not wait for paperwork to be done. Express Service includes next day guaranteed or in by 10am out by 4pm. Midway Cleaners will do the official count of what type and how many clothes are brought in. Coupons must be attached or put in the bag. Express service does not apply to households, leathers, or rugs.

leather

Leathers and suedes require special care and equipment and we use the best leather cleaner in MN to do the work for us and you. When dropping off leathers, please provide any care information that came with the garment, if possible. Also, point out any stains, since some older stains cannot always be removed safely. All matching pieces should be cleaned at the same time. Leather cleaning usually takes 1 week and special finishes are available upon request.
